IĀ know why it was called the "Super Blood" because this was the closest to the Earth and there was an eclipse, but why the "Wolf"?

It's adopted from native american lore. January -being the middle of winter- meant food was scarce, so wolves were out hunting/howling. Thus, the moon cycle came to be associated with the call of the wolf.Ā
