I was curious-how do you DO your sketches?
in your sketchbook, alot of them looks digital-dense black lines that look impossible with traditional tools, with some obvious traditional(pencil)sketches, and then these very detailed pieces(which I think are grayscaled paintings
is that correct?

I did the line work with a brushpen and colored with the comp, I do just about all my art in traditional media, if you sample my blog I have samples of some of the tools I use beside the obious pencil work. Yes the detailed paintings are grey scale versions of some of my paintings.

This reminds me.. when I was a kid I somehow managed to get one of those lions as a toy in die cast metal, way before I knew where they came from. I only had one though... so I had a transformable lion/boot. Not sure where I was headed with that... Nice handling on the inks, good stuff!
