Description Miniature Harris Hawk is made from Tupelo with wire feet. I t is resting on a Yucca plant made from brass sheeting. The carving won a first in its class and a first in the miniature division in the Ward World Carving Show in Ocean City Maryland in 2004

The carving is 7 inches from beak to the end of his tail. In real life they are about 20 inches long. Thanks for your interest. Presently I am carving a chipmunk and a puffin. Both life size.

Thank you for your comment. You must be a judge. The harris hawk won a 1st in miniature birds of prey and 1st in division at the Ward World carving show in Ocean City, Maryland. The chipmunk cannot enter this show since it is only for birds.
