This is in no way bad. Too many people, in my opinion, go for visorless styles or go with visors that are similar to astronauts when it comes to power armor. This is a very unique style compared to most you will find. It feels industrial as there are a lot of rugged edges and parts that stick out, it feels tactical with its dark paint scheme, and it looks neutral, able to be menacing or reassuring depending on what end of the rifle you are getting.
Just search up power armor and among your picture you will get customized Fallout concepts and more Ironman looking pieces that can blur together. While it may seem close to Bungie's early designs and the one Halo Wars set, yours is boxy where theirs is rounded. I am still trying to find an image like this one and cannot find a similar one in Halo art due to the contrast. The only thing similar is a forehead to nose visor with a bump over the top of it. Hell even the shoulders are nothing similar. Halo has big pauldrons while these are more condensed.
Good job and keep it up.

Looks cool. If you want it to look less like mjolnir, take away stuff you dont need, and replace with something else, like ammo.

It looks like it would still be similar to Mjolnir armor, even with your suggestion, though that may be because of how well known and wide spread the halo series is...Β

I think the real similarity here is that Halo's armor just makes sense from a technical standpoint; the design is most logical for our current understanding of armor requirements. Even The Trojan, a real suit of armor on par with the Mjolnir system, can't help following this design.

Perhaps to change the distinctive look you should imagine what power armor would be like to wear. One does not need a helmet to see through, as there can components to do that for you. Experiment with different shapes and let your art come out. You have excellent potential, never stop trying.

I think it has a internal screen on visor area, if you look on forehead area you can maybe see four or six's cams if i'm right? i don't know, i only assuming that it is.
bailknight It's looks more like a ODST suit in Spartan power armor form. It's awesome. What nationality is it suppose to be?

The painting itself is superb!
I'd say if you want to get away from the Halo vibe, make the armur less green overall; try an urban or desert colour scheme.
And modify that distinctive helmet.Β

Is there a full body version of this? I'm curious to see how the entire armor would look like.

well mjolnir power armor is an iconic piece of armor so I don't think it would be to bad to admit that it may resemble one of the most freaking badass armors in a game series ever.

This is the version that can take explosive damage and shrug it off.
Double the armor thickness of standard suits, triple the shield capacitance,
and only enough gaps to allow basic movement.
So why is it not the first choice on the field?
Manuveralbity is limited, the unit weighs so much that a Scorpion can out
run a soldier in it, and it's four times as coslty to make.
Effectivly wearing that armor makes you a very expensive walking target
in combat.
Yet anotherΒ thing on the listΒ of DARPA money holes.

hey man, even though its resemblance to mjolnir armor is great, you could be an armor designer for 343 industries!

wow, that armor rig actually looks more protective than halo's mjolnir. actuall looks a hell of alot like an Up-Armored halo 4 defender armor as shown here: at [link]

Ha! That's exactly what I was thinking. But this looks way cooler than Halo's defender armor kit.

Although the armor is similar to that in Halo series, the details you put into armor make it feel very unique.

Really it's something about the helmet and the jet pacs on the back. And the color I guess. But otherwise it's decently original. Well done.
