Honestly, I hate the X-ray attacks. They don't make any sense when a character gets up right after them or has the same thing done multiple times in a battle. I do however have to admit I never would have beat Shao Khan without them in MK9.

The only thing I don't like about them is that sometimes they're more lethal than fatalities, yet you survive them (see MKX).
