Description
This is my scratchbuilt custom Castle Grayskull. I made it by carving extruded foam with heated tools. I added details with Mulliput. It was painted with acrylic (which, handily protects and seals the foam).
I've made it to scale with Mattel's Master Of The Universe Classics toys, which were designed and sculpted by The Four Horsemen [link]
I wanted to make it so that the doorway was big enough to fit He-man riding Battlecat so it grew in height from there. I stands 32" high and 29" wide. I based the front on the box art of the original toy and also an illustration for a cardboard backdrop (though I'm not sure where that's from- if anyone knows what I'm talking about let me know...).
I left the gun off the top of the left turret because I wanted more room to display more figures. The Interior of the Castle is a bit like a showroom for the toys. I'll post another picture...
