They are, and original the 4th movie was supposed to be the last one,
but they kept going with the franchise, and they started to lose track on the story.
But I do think "Jason goes to Hell" would have been an okay ending to the franchise,
and it was also a pretdiction to "Freddy vs Jason".

Oh, and her name is Yukari Yakumo, she's the I-can-be-your-angel-or-your-devil type, and is a virgin who can create portals and drag people through them to eat them. Sounds like a perfect crossover match.

There are fans who say he is, and others who say he isn't.
In the "Freddy vs Jason" movie it is said that he fears water, which makes sense since he drowned as a child.
But if you look at the "Friday the 13th" franchise, you can see that water does'n't seem to bother him, at all.
Heck he even kills teens while being under water.
So yeah, as I said it can be discussed ^^'
