An experiment I started with my tablet a while back. As hectic as things have been and as disorganized as my thoughts have been I never got around to finishing it. I still hope to as I like where it was starting to go.This picture started out MERELY as an experiment in trying fur with my tablet. I am actually surprised it even turned out this well though I know there are many imperfections as this picture was drawn over an ooold sketch!
Still I am happy with the fur texture that came of this picture and I hope to finish this piece someday soon.

Wow! This is all amazing, but I particularly like the tuft on the top of his head. That hair is amazingly realistic. You've done a wonderful job with the distinction of individual hairs throughout, and those eyes are just mesmerizing. Wonderful job
Out of curiosity, is almost all of the fur done with a singular "pointed" brush, or was some of the fur done with the clustered special brushes? I'm always looking for tips on how people manage their fur textures.

For this one I used s single pointed brush and did the entire picture like that. For some reason my wacom tablet rather disliked ps6 and would make random fat lines about 3 times the size of the original so I could only woprk on it a little at a time. Technology ...go figure! Anyway I was looking at some tutorials where a cluster was used to do fur but for some reason whenever I tried it, they turned out entirely too uniform. How do you go about doing the hair on your pictures? It always seems so flawless!

I end up using a cluster brush for the first time over it, then going over it with an individual brush afterwards. Because I'm lazy. Ideally, I should do it how you've done it - with just the singular brush... it always looks so much better, I think. You're quite welcome! And thank you for the answer.

Now you have showed me this wasn't the case. YOu are able to do anything with this tablet!
It looks exactly like a real lion cub, and the hair is so flowing and looks so realistic.
