named after the last two minutes of interpol song by the same name. the music is the most wonderful expression of existentialist acceptance of the futility of our actions and the realization of a fatalistic reality. the painting is the same. acceptance of the chaos of the world, however painful and unexpected it might be.... it is the way it is, and the only option we have is to roll with the punches or die. hope shines eternal, but its a purity we can never touch fully; we are lashed to the world we know.
