another life size drawing...done in conte, charcoal......the usual stuff
background atmosphere was darkened in photoshop.
this is a perfect example of how things don't work as well the second time.....Im referring to both faces
Spontaneity seems to be the key....

I think certain mediums appeal to certain people... If I use charcoal or pastels I can't draw to save my life

~*~After looking through the rest of your Gallery, I understand your comparison. It can get like that after a while of studying and sketching the human forms, you can without conciously meaning to, cross over old ground slightly, and not feel the rawness you once created, and for "you" yourself it can become tidius although "We" enjoy seeing your creation. Even though I can appreciate your images and see a progression in style whilst viewing your Gallery, it maybe comes down to self satisfaction, regardless how enjoyable it is for others. With that being said, maybe you're being too harsh on yourself, surly that should be our pleasure. I look forward to see what you do next.~*~
