I actually reduced the red colour in photoshop.
The actual charcoal drawing is more red and less
green...but Im glad you like it

Hehe finally someone who replies with long answers!
I have only plaid the game once or so, but I've watched the movie. It's just those creepy and weird human looking things covered with blood that are freaky. and mostly, they don't make much sound which is scary. It's just there, moving without a sound like you can't predict it coming or anything. nightmare.

I've only seen the Silent Hill movie as well.
Thought the movie was alright....started out
pretty well, but I hated the massacre scene
at te end. I thought it was unnecessary violence.

...and it seems you're easily pleased by

I don't like to repeat themes or concepts if I don't have a good reason to do so...
this is one of those cases where I feel like Im repeating elements due to an absence of creativity, and not for the purposes of growth.
It's become cliche and gimmicky now for me to do this type of work for no reason...
I at least had the excuse of spontaneity before, now it's just some sad degenerative excuse...haha
thank god that these are just life drawings, and anatomy studies though...haha

I think the warm colors brought some life to the figures, although I'm sure I would have liked to see them in shades of blue. Nice work!

well that's exactly wanted to use a different colour.
I've become too reliant on warm tones...
Im gonna try some pastel work one of these days,

interestingly though I can't achieve this type of drawing with a pen or a pencil.
I suppose that means any success I have with these life drawings are due to the material and not my human touch..
