I think it took me until I started making a good bit of money to start buying my own coffee, especially since the Firm's coffee was pretty good ... and I mostly bought it for the company when they asked me to go out and get it. I do remember back at the bottom of 2000 when I first started working at the Firm, I was asked to pick up Starbuck's coffee and get me whatever I wanted. When I asked about that, he said, "If I'm going to ask you to do this for me, of course I'm including you too." He said years later that he was worried about me when I first started working here since I seemed to always be broke. This was also before I started driving for him too. Once year, I bought me a grinder, very much like the one I used to use in both rounds of college, grinding up a rather dark roast coffee and then adding just a bit of sugar. But, it was Starbuck's who introduced me to different flavors. While I still like a jet back, high octane, very bad for you coffee, y'know like the stuff Elly Mae used to drink? I got to love all sorts of flavors. I even started buying and serving some Black Rifle Coffee, some of the best around.

So, when I got a note from my good and very groovy friend, ... I was curious. She had kindly reminded me that I had donated to her KoFi thingamajig again ... always happy to do ... I still don't get it even after explained by all my friends and even laughed at. And that kindness had earned me a free sketch. So, she popped me this one above.
