Description
Something that I have been wanting to do for a good while now. What got me interested is a few chats I've had with a new friend ...This extremely talented artist has done several tutorial studies and they have done me some good. I hoped to offer something to the other artists out there too.

Ah recall doing some sketches like these too and nice to even label them for each and every character, you certainly give each your OC a very unique look lass, well done.

Done pretty big and scanned in at 600 DPI allows me to make them almost as crisp as some of the others around here.

I do because it's the highest I can get with the equipment I use ... imagine scanning in something that's 30x42 inches at 600 DPI!

Damn and people at home here thought that just the doing the 300 DPI was overdoing it, lol. Nice touch on the evil laugh, oh that poor tech. ^o^

I'm drawn to this by the simple observation (my own, mind you) that most artists don't spend alot of time thinking about ears, myself included. They need to be appropriate, but not alot of detail.
But here you've made a great argument and case to think otherwise! Ears have just as much chance for individual personality as hands or feet. And they can definitely stand out as much as any other face feature.

Thank you so much for such a strong compliment and even a good point there. For me, there's a lot of talented manga artists out there and I feel that I have to really push to make my work stand out. Doing such detail with the eyes and the ears alone brings mine more to the front.
