In artwork, no ... in real life, sure. My folks used to own a pool on the grounds of the house I grew up in, just less than half a mile, probably more like a quarter of a mile from the ocean, back when the area was more woods and trails than Yuppie estates.

Oh wow, now that is interesting. It is funny that you mention King Koo-Koo, as he was one of my favorite inflation characters of all time. For some odd reason that movie has always stuck with me, despite having only seen it all the way through one time.
It is quite funny how characters evolve over time. But I never suspect that Ricochet was based on your real self! I guess it pays to work with what you know

King Koo Koo has always been a favorite of mine; there's even a piece of work I did of him as a mixture of himself and Dr. Doom. I want to do one with Raggedy Anne as Reed Richards ... I'll get to that at some point.

Mm. No. The Princess started off and on for years long before I even knew what on-line would like. She had a few model sheets which sucked, but they had the requirements: front, one side, and back ... the proportions were ok and the face was the strongest part of the design. I think I started her around the 1980s off and on, right after I saw "Raggedy Anne and Andy: A Musical Adventure". She's inspired by King Koo-Koo.
Israfel, as she was originally known as, was another person's character who did it to compliment my Caitlynn character. When she got too busy to be around, she gave me the name and told me to do something special with her. After a while, I did ... and she became a tigress, modeled after my younger self and perhaps what I could have been like if I hadn't fallen so far back in the 1990s. In tigress form, she's known as Ricochet KaBoom, after one of my powerhouse characters who became the template for her mother, Hypatia Vincent.

Not much going on outside of what I have put in the journals. Been so busy at work for the last two weeks that I haven't done much drawing. I do hope to change that over the next couple of weeks ... to get back to what I want to get done.
