The key is not drowning your paint. I learned that pretty quickly...

Yeah well, I have this issue with watercolors. I don't drown them...I just...don't water them up ENOUGH.
Turns out all dry and chalky and NOT blendable at all. xD
But I wish I could get a decent set of watercolors to practice with. i'm so pre-occupied with getting paper and stuff that I can't get any. Not that I could right now anyway. We're pretty close to the point of no return, money wise.
