I did this when I was more active on FA a few years ago. I think 2007 or 8. I still am a big fan of the series. When I went to my first "Gathering of the Gargoyles," I actually discussed the idea of making a comic based on the terrorist attack of 9/11. But have since seen some users here on DA make pictures dedicated to the subject. It was going to be a fan comic about the gargoyles tracking a few terrorists that were related with the Illuminati. (Yes, I fall into the camp of people that believe it was an inside job.)

This is a scene I wrote up and doodled in college one weekend. Total time it took was 4.5 hours cause I wanted to do it in one sitting. It was going to be the start of the comic, but I realised I misprinted the dialogue. So I did a different first page. This is page two. The rest of the comic got stained and ripped in transition from me moving from dorm into my own apartment in 2010. I might revisit this idea. I found this page in my old archives. :3 Here, Broadway and Lexington have made a flight under orders from Elisa to look for survivors the night of the fall of the towers, at the end of the strip they find one body and it is not pretty.
