Oh yes, The Booth At the End...I spotted it for free on Hulu some time back and watched the whole first season in a single sitting, it was really great. Β I think there's a second season now? Β I've been meaning to revisit it for some time to see where they went from there. Β Some really intense drama, even though all the scenes are set as conversations in a diner booth. Β I thought it was a fantastic way to conduct the series, and the stories (as well as the ones that intertwined) played out really well. Β Glad to see you're a fan!

It's just a vector image with gradients. You plot out your drawing with a sketch, and then pen tool and adjust your values with the gradient tool. Not too difficult to set up actually.
