Tanabi was none too pleased when he was told about his future sibling, but of course there was nothing he could do about it. Three months passed quickly until the day that the cub was born. Tanabi was, at first, in awe of the tiny creature his mother held. But it grabbed his whiskers, pulling hard and pulling one out. He yelped, racing behind his father's legs. They laughed, nuzzling each other and then taking turns to lick the new pride member. Tanabi scoffed and turned away. "Blech... kissing!" He stole another glance at his little brother. "I don't know what's so great about the chump anyway. He doesn't do anything!" Tanabi held back a sob, racing down the rock and hiding under a tree.
