I just took some photos of lightning with my Canon Rebel XTi, and the resulting shots are all posterized.
I shot in BULB mode for 56 seconds, ISO 200, f22.
How did YOU prevent posterization?

That's amazing! I've always wanted to get a picture of lightning, but there are never really any thunder storms where I live
