These are great, man! Would you allow other artists to use them as templates for costume/character designs? (with proper credit of course.)

Thanks buddy, glad you like them. I'd always encourage artists to have a go themselves but if a particular picture helps someone create a costume/character then I guess I don't mind, so long as credit's given.

these are amazing, do you know of any good exercises to practice gestural drawing?

Thanks Depends what you mean by 'gesture' and what kind of gestures you're after practicing but I goof about with Photo Booth on my Mac. If I've got a strange expression I need to draw then I quite often take a few selfies of myself pulling stupid faces and go from there. If it's more bodily gestures then I try and find what I can on the web or I'll get someone to pose for me and take a few pics. As for the practice itself, start off really simple, just blocks and shapes before any detail goes in. For example, all the heads on this page are just 'crosshairs'. Pay real attention to what parts of the body sit in front of or obscure the others. Sometimes just one little line here or there can make all the difference. And more importantly just keep drawing, drawing drawing. It eventually becomes engrained in your subconscious and you'll eventually do it instinctively. I do plan to do a book on anatomy tutorials and comic drawing but balancing the time at the moment is an issue!

You have a remarkable understanding of anatomy. I still struggle very much with proper physicality and perspective. good work.

Thanks for the kind comment dude, much appreciated. Perspective is tough, especially on the human body. I quite often use reference pics to get the musculature right but I would definitely check out comic artists like Ryan Ottley (Invincible) and Cory Walker (Invincible and ShadowPact) for just keeping it simple. They make it look great but without loads of line work. Keep up the good work!
