I have a confession to make: Kala is my favourite Disney character. I've always loved her ever since I was a little kid and even now when I watch it, it's so beautiful because SHE SAW A CREATURE THAT SHE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT WHO WAS YOUNG AND ALONE AND SHE TOOK HIM IN AND CARED FOR HIM EVEN THOUGH HE WASN'T HERS BUT BECAUSE SHE WAS A LOVING GORILLA AND SHE LOVED THAT CHILD REGARDLESS OF WHAT OTHERS SAID! And then years later he saved all their asses.
The colouring thing, I was inspired when I watched my cousin's daughter who was colouring outside the lines and it annoyed me half to death but it still looked interesting so I thought I'd experiment a bit with the way I draw.
Also this is probably the 2nd time I've drawn a gorilla so I'm still learning but so far good attempt. Snaps for Bambi!

She is. And I love his biological mother too, my mum used to say I looked like her when I was younger becuase we had similiar red hair. And Phil Collins Disney music will always send a shiver down my spine: this is like the ultimate movie!

I loved their relationship - I especially loved the scene in which she was trying to make him see that they were the same on the inside, regardless of how they looked on the outside. Very sweet drawing.
