(In the Crystal Lighthosue of the Dark Spectre Sea Witch Vanessa, a distraught Carly, using her enchantment to turn into a mermaid, goes for comfort from her Mistress/Boss/Mother Figure. The two are seated on Vanessa's Ice Couch, as her Milotac, Seviper and severa lTetancruels and two Seadra's are gatehr aroudn them.)
Vanessa: (pats crying Carly's back) There, there, there, Darling.....you know I Never approved of that boy. You should've taken my advice and Deep-Sixed Him!
Carly: Madam Vanessa, I couldn't do that.....I just wish he didn't want to break up.....IS IT SOMETHING I DID!? (swims around in a panic) Was I too clingy, ignored him, did I have offensive body odor!?
Vanessa: Darling, YOUR DEAD!! If he didn't dump you straight away, he boviously wasn't bothered by any smells.

Carly: But what...(Carly sits back down, head bowed in sadness, Vanessa sighs and goes over to shelves pulling down a small cchest with a skull crossbone lock) I just wish....i could make him stay, he'd see we're still meant for each other.
Vanessa: If that's all you want. To keep him and have him love you again, then I have just what you need.....(Turns aroudn opening chest, revealing a dagger kept in a silver sheath, bedecked with jewels) You'll Need This!!
Carly: (Startled, nearly falls off couch but shoved upright by Seadra's) I don't want to kill him!!
Vanessa: Die!? *moves closer with chest* Who says he's going to die? I've given up on that after you made me swear a unbreakable Oath not to harm him.
Carly: But...the dagger....
Vanessa: Has been dipped into a love potion, it will also transform Rex into a merman. (Leans close to Carly, who looks away uncomfortable) Think of it! You just stab him to the heart, his body will chaneg into a merman and you into a mermaid! He will fall in love with YOU and forget whoever has taken his heart away from you. (Carly looks at her in shocked perplexment) He wouldn't be dumping you if it didn't involve Another woman. One who Obviously bewitched him. (Carly looks uneasy, but takes out the dagger and holds it in her hands, tears turning to perals underwater, being collected by the Kingler's scurryign about) Oh, my Darling.
(Vanessa reahces out and wipes away a tear with her finger, the tear turning into a pearl that Vanessa clenches into her hand tightly, feelign empathy for her young ward)
Vanessa: I know it hurts, your confused, unsure what to do.....but if you WANT him, NEED HIM!! Then you'll use this dagger, but takeyour time to think it over....but Know This!! If you accept this Dagger and take it with you, it will disolveinto sunlight on the dawn of the second month after you've taken it.......(Carly nods, swimming away back home to think this over) YOU HAVE A MONTH TO THINK IT OVER!! DO WHAT YOU FEEL IS RIGHT!!
