Guys guys guys, when it comes to pin-ups, and I'm sure we've all seen tons since this is DA, this one is pretty tasteful. Like really tasteful. It shows how womanly the character is without being gross or overly sexual.
Β Β Besides there were tons of armors that didn't have butt pieces! It was so you could go to the bathroom on the battlefield and not have to take all of your armor off. Her stomach and chest (heart/vital organs) and her head, are all covered. A hit to the ass is NOT going to kill her seriously.
Except for a few historical exceptions (like Joan of Arch) female knights never existed, so who cares if the FANTASY armor is silly. It's obviously a pin-up anyway. Β

Creative, not even a little bit. Β There are more images of animesque ladies half-dressed in ornate armor than there are stars in the sky at this point, and this does absolutely nothing new and interesting with the trite and objectifying concept.

I can understand the butt puns, but seriously, some of you seem to be emotionally affected about the skin reveal. It's not a design of a real armor, its just art that you can enjoy or not in aesthetic terms (which i think is a beautiful piece of art).
