ummmm yeah had no idea where to post this so I just kinda went where it looked like it should fit. Just a collection of pictures I took of my hand at work today. u___u I feel kind of lame but I've decided its a good first step...concentrate on one thing at a time! Hope it helps some of you too! I's plans on sketching every single one of these hand poses. Also please forgive the bad pictures of me XD; Not really taken for the purpose of making myself prettier XDD! I often look at my own hand when I'm not sure how to draw it.....
There is one time that I need to draw a left hand.....I look at my right hand and draw it on paper.....
I found out the next day....when my friend told me that the person I draw has two right hand

yeah my hands are longer than my 6' guy friends. And my thumbs are ridiculous! XD They also are a little funny in the joints...my thumb come out of joint on its own at the place where it connects. So a lot of the time they dont look right in drawings

I actually thought about doing one of these, but I didn't think my hands were best, since they're pretty small for someone my age... and my nails.. every one is a different length LOL

you're the second person to say that. I have ridiculously long fingers. Like, my hands are as long as my guy friends who are 6'+ Actually LONGER! I have very long hands in general for a girl or a boy...ahy genetics XD;

You are my hero! Hands are so hard to draw and even harder sometimes to find references. You're pretty though, so don't worry about your scar so much. Although it does bear an awesome resemblance to the Harry Potter scar as you mentioned. You just made it cool before it went into style.

Feet are hard to draw too, especially straight forward and straight back views. Judging from your fingers, I'm sure your feet aren't "ooglay." Your hands are really delicate and pretty. They remind me of my favorite manga artist, Mokona's art. XD

I dont have a set place, I just know I want my passion to be part of it! There are my dream jobs and then there are jobs I would like. Example...I would LOVE to illustrate books...or create stage costume design etc...but I would settle for being a concept artist for something small etc...like little local tabletop games and things.

I know a lot of artists who put them selves out there and get commissioned for books and such... and didn't lone-momo get to draw for an online game?

This is the thing that you need to understand dear, a lot of these smaller jobs arent actually all that well paying. I've been approached by a few companies but these companies sounded very shady and only wanted to pay me a very very small amount, refused to write up contracts, and wanted exclusive rights to the work I do for them...aka I couldnt sell the same picture on a mousepad at a convention if I wanted to because I no longer had ANY right to that artwork OR that character. But also...a LOT of these artists such as lone-momo...well I had the opportunity to look through her sketchbook at anime evolution. So many amazing poses, angles, dynamics, etc...all the things my art is lacking, thats what all these companies are looking for. I need to tackle and improve these VERY important areas because pretty lines and color arent enough until I can fix those problems. Do you see? Also I dont mind working at a credit union. I <3 customer service...most of the time. If I had an art job while trying to concentrate on improving my art I think I'd find it very frustrating
