Day 012 in my Seek Ye First : 365 days series.This piece is the Prodigal Son (or Daughter in my case!)
The concept is the Prodigal, on his own, wondering what he could possibly say to his Father to make amends when he goes home - he has reached rock bottom and knows where he belongs; where he should have stayed.
The writing on my palm are lyrics from 'Prodigal' by Casting Crowns. I've always interpreted the lyrics as the Prodigal Son going through his head what to say to his Father, so in this photograph he is writing the words on his hand in an attempt to solidify his decision to return home and do the right thing.
A big thankyou to my Dad for helping me set-up the camera angles!

Yeah, I'm thinking, but I'm not sure yet. Maybe we could do something about how people can be friends even though they're far away from each other ? I'm trying to think of a concept, like touching hands through glass or something. I always thought photographs like that were awesome.

I dunno, but I'm thinking we could do the double-triptych, the idea you had before. We could each be doing three different things and line them up next to each other. They could either be exactly the same, in different areas, or we could do things like relating to our country somehow ?
OR, we could make one square I, the next one a heart, and the next one a U, like we could make half the letter with each of our bodies or something ? Like throw your arm up in the air and make half of the u ? xD I don't know, dorky, but I kinda like it ? Or maybe something peace-based, like, "ZAY WORLD PEACE AND LOVE."

Sorry, haha, I'm bad with words today. Well, we could pick three different things to do- jumping in the air, playing guitar, etc. And just do them and put the pictures of us next to each other. Or we could do something that kind of represents our respective countries. Like I could eat mcdonalds/apple pie or something, and you could eat... Fish and chips or British food. xDDDD
