I probably will regret asking this but do you want there to be actual steel plates on the tail and along the stomach or would gray fabric work? I can do steel plates on the tail and on the stomach. It will just take a bit longer.

Next on my to-do list. The fun part is going to be those bracelets. Need to scare up some faux fur for the mane. It will lie right/stand up better than the real thing ever will.

On his tail, is it a real flame or something simmilar? (Like, is it burning hot? 
Has he ever burned himself with the tail? =[ And has it ever gone out?

I never really wanted him to have wings, 'cause he's a racer. They'd just get in the way. But I still dream about the fella and sometimes it's nice to dream about flying and being free...so yeah. Hee.
The flame determines his life, kinda like a fuse. Idk if you can see at this size, but there are five separate 'sections' to his tail. The flame burns itself down them throughout his life I guess. Once it's burned all five out, he dies and the flame dies with him...it's...still a concept that I haven't really put as much thought to as I need. But it's getting there. |D
Basically the core of his tail is potassium - hence the purple flame.
Far as I know, flame's never burnt him. It's kinda like when you play with a flame of a match or a bunsen burner. If you don't want it to burn you, I won't.

Being free <3
Talking about being free, my boyfriend laughs at me when he sees my bird in his cage (he's only in his cage at night and when we're not home) but still XD. He's like: "the one animal we see as being a 'free' animal is locked up in a cage
Ohh that's smart. No, i cannot see the 5 parts to it.... wait, you don't mean the flame, you mean 5 parts of his actual tail? I think i get it.

LOL. That's indeed true! Our bird doesn't always come out. The door's always open mind (Apart from when we have our windows open when it's too warm XD) but even so, he likes to sit inside with his girlfriend. Aka; his reflection. XD;
Yes, five little 'sections' to the tail. It's hard to see in this old piece of poop, but underneath the 'flame' there are five sections of metal. -fail- XD

Ahahaha he prectices to "the bird in the mirror" for his real girlfriend Shout when she comes over (or when we go there. She's my aunts bird and they used to be a breeding pair. They were also brother and sister O_o We never try to have baby birds though, we would rather not inbreed them =\)
But wow, when he's mad, "the bird in the mirror" sure gets bit and attacked. He doesn't like "the bird in the mirror" all that much

Although...this reference sheet is, what, three years old? XD; He's gone through a couple of changes since this. Like, the 'arm band' on his right leg isn't there anymore, and neither are the tattoos...I really should update this sometime, haha! XD
