Description
you know...this looks just like all the rest of the fractals that bandit fella submits, just not as much color...there needs to be an intervention or something...tell this guy he's in a rut and everything's starting to look the same, get repetitive and maybe he should take up knitting or something...Apophysis 2.08 Beta

It's a beautiful fractal. I wish I could make ones like that. I use the same technique.

I appreciate that you like the fractal, and if you use the same technique...then you most defiantely CAN make ones like this...the secret is in the weights and in the new XAOS tab inside Apophysis 2.08...

I play with weights all the time, but i have not understood XAOS yet.
Grand julians are what I do, and I know this is a grand julian, at least the technique. You might have changed the blur variation in the first transform into another variation, of which I often tend to do.

yes, it's a manipulated grand julian...but the xaos tab determines a lot of the final "feel". There's a good tutorial somewhere here on DA...lemme see if I can find it for you...

first, read Zueuk's journal on the xaos tab here [link]
then go look at the PDF file that IDeviant made here [link] the dev link to this file is [link] (you'll have to hit the download button if you use that last link)
