This is very good. I love how all the details of Yami's outfit are show in the reflecting light and shadows but his face and hair are completely black. Such a wonderful silhouette is perfect for a late night duel. Overall in the picture, your lighting is very good. I know you said you were worried about it but you did anexcellent job. Β
I'm also impressed with your texturing. Most people when drawing a Slifer tribute will draw all of the scales that cover his body, and while it looks cool, the dual disks probably wouldn't add that much detail; which is why I think this works so well. You managed to show a coarse texture on the god's body without all that added detail.Β
Third point, that card. Beautiful. It not only looks like the real thing but also, with the lighting, has a bit of an empty vortex to draw you in. Just makes you wonder what card Yami has waiting for his opponent. Same goes for the Thunder Force attack. I love how you made the black orb around it. It makes it look extra deadly the way the light shines through those teeth.Β
Nice job.Β

Thanks for that incredible high detail comment about my hard work. For the card I used an image of a real one and embellished the colours. I carn't really draw something from the top of my head without some help from an image.Β

Thanks, I was mostly stuck on the shadow and lighting, but when I added texture it started to feel more put together. Adding moonlight and the glowing pendant helped valence the yellow colour and gave depth to the hole thing.Β
