I’ve had several story-heavy games spoiled by playthroughs, like Undertale and Night in the woods.

Because I was always careful about checking if it’d be a game I’d like to play, ironically realising it when it’s already too late. When I saw OneShot in the steamstore, I figured I wouldn’t make that mistake again and gave it a whirl.…

Save to say, I was not disappointed.

I’m not always an emotional guy. So I didn’t expect I’d start off the new year with a heavy heart from this game.
Being pretty much the god of the world, you’re guiding the little messiah, Niko, through a dark world with a quest to carry the fragile new sun to the place of its predecessor. And ultimately find a way home for Niko.
The story was… heavy, to say the least. It hits pretty close to home.
Drawing wallpaper-esque fanart was besides a sign of respect arguably a coping method for me. X)
If you like Undertale, OneShot is in my opinion equally good if not better.
