Your friend Harry mentioned going on a vacation with his wife Jackie and that you should keep an eye on the house while they are gone. Harry, an hobbyist in the art of woodworking, wanted to show you something before he left, but they had to hit the road to beat traffic while you had to cross rush hour traffic to get to their house.

You opened the door with his spare key and decide to check it out in the garage, his workshop, since they will be out of town for a week.

Startled, you jump back after turning on the lights in the garage. Sitting in a chair next to a wood frame guillotine was a woman's body without a head in the familiar shape of Jackie. The body fidgets its foot as if waiting for something or someone, not sensing any change in light or sound. The body is alive?! You think. You walk closer. It's no doll, it's Jackie without her head as if she came home from work with nothing above the neck!

You circle around her body, still swinging one of her legs as if trying to kill time. Jackie was still dressed as if coming straight from her job as a successful marketing director, not even bothering to take off her heels. Jackie had been married for some time to your friend, but there had been some nights where you had fantasized about her, even during a one night stand.

You hesitate to touch her yet, worried it'll spook her. You snap this picture and send it to Harry with a "Bro, what? Is this real?"

"Oh, you found it! New project I found and I needed a willing participant. No offense to you haha. Jackie's fine - she wanted to pack light and leave her body behind. She says she's glad it's you that found her like this first."

Another text comes in.

"This is a thank you for watching over the house while we are gone. Jackie says you had a tough breakup recently. Her body is relying only on a hypersensitive sense of touch now..."

"Or, you could get a fresh perspective on life by having that new perspective off your own shoulders. Just remember, we won't be back for a week and a headless body usually does its own thing if you chop yours off, or so I read."

You thank Harry and Jackie with a smiley face emoji and tell him the house and Jackie's decapitated body are in good hands.

Her body will be soon enough, your mind racing to imagine what's under her top and white, skin-tight pants.

Your eyes go back and forth between Jackie's waiting body and the intrigue of the magical guillotine's place for your neck, too.

You have a week, so no rush. But was this a once in a lifetime opportunity with Jackie? Or at least most of her? She wanted it to be with you. But the tone in his text implied a casualness to it, maybe there could be more to this... maybe Harry is into it too and wouldn't mind seeing some headless bodies in his garage doing....
