Description same twee - WIP Here.
This was to be an idea for a much better book cover for Tears of the Cheetah: Tales From the Genetic Frontier by Stephen O'Brien. Very good book.

Hehe, it's cool. So I guess it's the tree of life?

It could be... if you see it that way. I see it as life arranged as DNA, arranging itself into a form more complex and unique and beautiful, representing the tremendous capabilities of life itself. I suppose that's a lot to ask from the viewers and their interpretations. "The Tree of Life" is still a wonderful concept, so I'm just as satisfied if people see it that way.

It might also mean that all the livings on Earth are closely related and depend on each other ... I don't know whether you like this interpretation. But there's a light coming from the back, shining on all the beautiful creations on Earth.

I didn't think of that one. Yeah it could be that the tree represents all of the life within a biome, and they all support and shape one another for the sake of the strength and integrity of the final form.
