Description First part of coloring, so far. The dark background isn't part of the image. Just a tip I learned that one shouldn't use a white background while coloring.

Over the week, including going out of town for Anime Iowa, my computer finally bit the dust last night. Today I got me a new machine. Twice as fast and twice the room. I saved the drive from my old one and I'm ready to roll again.

Why shouldn't you use a white background ? :s
Oh and also (I hope I am not annoying you) What art program do you use?

Actually, that is a good point. Why didn't I think of that? From now on I'm useing a dark colored background. How many times bits of light colors I've forgotten to erase end up still on the picture!

Thanks for the bit of enlightenment! And keep up the good work!

This is looking great!
How do you get your color fills to look so sharp? Do you use "selections" in photoshop and fill on a separate layer?

hey great stuff, The pencils are flawless as usual, but, you are not really known as a colourist and this is coming along so awsome, great colouring indeed!

Do you like colouring or dispise it as I do?

I wish I had your coloring ability. Half of the time I sit here and bang my head against the desk wondering how in the hell you manage such perfect gradients! you suck. But you rock so hard it's scary.

My favorite working tip has always been the horizontal flip. It forces you to see your picture in a completely different way, much like a first-time viewer of the piece would.

Nice work. Again. And again. And again. And again. And again.

I usually keep a layer of red, bright green, and some other color on seperate layers as i'm working so I can switch back and forth easily and spot any thin patches of color or holes.

"one shouldn't use a white background while coloring."

S'true. White is so blinding. I use a greenish grey when I color. It is pleasing to the eyes. Cure pic so far. I like it. ^__^

I've never heard of this! This is a good tip! Flesh tones always seem to dark when I color them and then too light, or just off, after I do the backgrounds... this is a good to keep in mind.
