I'm alive!

These past few months have been extremely hard on me and my family. With the pandemic going on my mother hasn't been able to work 40 hours at her current job in fears of bringing the covid virus home and infecting my disabled and immune-compromised father. Instead taking on 20 hours. This affected a lot of the income that went to food for my family of five and I've been doing my best to make up for the cut in the grocery budget.

After that we found my uncle had an extremely rare, fast growing, and aggressive cancer that was caused most likely from exposure to a carcinogen while working. He was only 52 and the cancer had spread from his kidneys, lungs, face, and lastly his bones within a month before he passed away peacefully two weeks ago with my aunt and cousin present. It was hard on my aunt who did her best to try and care for my uncle and make sure he was in the least amount of pain possible. It was hard and a week ago he had his funeral. My mom went to go help my aunt and my grandmother set everything up and comfort them both. It was extremely devastating news and it sent me through a rather long depression where I just haven't found much if any pleasure in doing much more beyond work and just talking to my partner.

I just wanted to post this little doodle I had managed to make a few days ago in a lined notebook I bought. It helped me to at least try and get something out to try and get back into the swing of things.
