Description
My first finished traditional painting in many years. I'm a bit rusty but it was fun.I's been more than a year since I started on it. I plan to be quicker with the next one. I might re-shoot the photo to get rid of the reflections later on.
Acrylic on canvas 60 X 80 cm
Hope you like it.

Exploderande definitivt! Vilken skillnad frΓ₯n VIP:en! Nog fΓΆr att jag hade pΓ₯ kΓ€nn att det skulle bli fΓ€rgglatt och mycket kontraster men inte sΓ₯hΓ€r intensivt. Riktigt bra gjort.

It does. One thing I will have to get used to is that there is no pressing Ctrl+z when I mess things up. You have to work from where you are with mess-ups and all.

LOL, ep there is no undo, only correcting it will work, but well worth it.

It is beautiful. You did a great job with the colors and it looks just like a sunset I could watch until the sun is gone. I have projects from last year too but you know what? Take your time because when you rush through anything it looks horrible and you won't be happy with your outcome. Take it slow and enjoy what you do even if it takes a while to complete.

To be honest I havn't been working on it during the year. It's been resting against a wall collecting dust. But yeah, sometimes you have to put somethings aside for a while to get new ideas on how to finish them.

Sometimes it takes years for one to get a piece done because they choose not to burn themselves out and come up with good ideas that will stick. Others like me always need a break so we don't burn out doing what we love so trust me. Take your time and give yourself space your piece will always come together beautifully.

Idk. I often find working to be the best way to get inspiration, but sometimes you'll have to work on something different to get new perspectives and better knowledge of what it is you're trying to portray.

Oh! That's a good thought if it works for you. Have you tried a different take on a sunset. Like instead of over the ocean maybe over a lake or a mountain top. Even a scifi like environment. Just
tossing some ideas here to see if they help.

Thank you soo much!! I worked with every trick I had not to end up with dull desaturated colors while blending them. A lot of traditional paintings tend to have to desaturated colors in my opinion. Also I wanted the picture to be a slap in the face color-wise.
