Description
A homemade meme? :gasp: Yes, because I'm focused on schoolwork, I really am getting lazy with my posts. Now if I come across as egosentric in these explanations, I apologize in advance.HONORABLE MENTIONS
Emma Swan from Once Upon a Time
Rainbow Dash/Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler from X-Men
10. Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls
When I was kid, Blossom always was favorite - and she kind of still is. I see now that she is pretty arrogant and sometimes her leadership skills come across as very bossy, so why do I still like her? Because I see a lot of myself at that age; when I was a kid, I was sharp-minded - in brains and brawn, I tended to be bossy, and I liked pink. In present values? Well, I don't like pink as much - in fact, I rarely wear it. But a lot of her other attributes like her leadership (this includes her bossiness/arrogance because I do get like that at times), her maturity, and her intelligence sort of stay with me.
9. Lucy Pevensie from Narnia
I played this character in a school play - and after rereading the books, I realize I have a lot of similarities to the character. Before, I thought I was more like Susan, but I found out I was more like Lucy...we're both incredibly faithful/loyal to our friends/beliefs, we're both stubborn, and we're both keen with imagination.
8. Princess Sally Acorn from Sonic
Now this one required some speculation. My friend kept pointing this out, and I was like "Sure, okay; as long as I'm not Amy." I had never watched the cartoon Sally was in, but I had heard whispers of her character; eventually, I actually sat down and watched the big finale, and...I actually do see a lot of myself in Sally; the tomboy princess attitude, the opinionated views and the gentle flirtations come across as stuff that I actually find myself doing...
7. Sakura Haruno from Naruto
I was nicknamed after this character in high school - and it kind of stuck because both of us had similar lifestyles and we both have similar personalities: both of us went through the "crazy-fangirl-for-guy-who-could-care-less" phase, both of us had 180s in which we toughened up and focused more on pysicak work, and both of us were underestimated because people didn't consider our intelligence. Now if only I had the courage to dye my hair pink...
6. Sam from Totally Spies
She's similar to Blossom in how she was my favorite character based on both looks and personality. Every character I tried to draw I based mostly on her design. She was also my cartoon role model throughout middle school; friendly, funny, loyal, and above all, smart. And I'm glad her attributes got me through....
5. Belle from Beauty and the Beast
Non-princess wise, the Disney heroine I'm most like is Esmeralda because we're both tough with good hearts, artsy but misunderstood, and willing to have a good time (I was going to have her share a space here, but I couldn't find a good pic). But princess wise, I do find a lot more in common with Belle; I love reading, I love adventure, I hate being forced into situations that are "of-the-norm", and I like knowing people for who they are.
4. Hermione Granger from Harry Potter
Do I have to go into detail about this one? Harry Potter was my book series, and Hermione was the kind of girl I ended up being; the bookworm who wasn't afraid to defend herself.
3. Princess Zelda from The Legend of Zelda
Talk about a princess that does a 180; this girl started out from getting kidnapped all the time to actually thinking about things while being kidnapped (as in Twilight Princess) or on the run (as in OoT). And I was like that; I was a real girlie girl who liked to pretend to be the princess needing to be rescued. But then as I got older, I started realizing that being the damsel sucked. So, like Zelda, I started using my head when in sticky situations, and even got into fighting mentally and physically (it's not the same as fighting with magic but hey).
2. Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson
She's sort of an odd mix of some of the other people mentioned; she's battle-smart like Sakura and Sally, bossy like Blossom, AND book-smart like Belle and Hermione. Some of my steadfast fieryness/competitive determination is a lot like hers - but I really do wish I had her drive sometimes. Also, she's the daughter of my favorite Greek goddess, so that doesn't hurt.
1. Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender
Yep, after a lot of thinking, I decided I really do relate to her. Both of us are strong willed, opinionated, kind-hearted, optimistic, witty (hey, she can be smart, too), protective, and determined. I also like how both of us use inner strength as opposed to outer; that, and I'm almost always associated with water...

I actually don't understand why people hate Annabeth, she's actually quite relatable. and her backstory makes Annabeth quite a tragic figure.
