I feel that artistic integrity is something that persists in many individuals. However, too much information can often obstruct its full potential; you cannot see the forest through the trees, so to speak. After a while, our own visions become so similar to those of our perceived mentors' that it becomes difficult to seperate what is ours from what is theirs.

Certainly, a few great works that I've seen flashed through my mind while polishing this piece, and the letter structure itself is my interpretation of an older structure I came up with about a year ago. Nonetheless, I feel rejuvenated from having been away from the ol' graffiti game and can happily say that I am very much in sync with my own vision.

This is just the first--but, in my opinion, one of the best--of a string of new works I've been working on since I've come to Australia.
