Updated 21/11/20: As I just updated the original Old Debts deviation, I thought I should do the same for this sequel! Not a massive makeover this time, mainly just the Rey character has been updated.

Rey almost wished it had been one of the jawas that purchased her.

Instead, it had been this ... this creature in a mask who had approached late in the day and offered a good price. In fact, he'd paid significantly more than the merchant had been asking for her. That slaver had certainly filled his pockets today.

She'd felt the strangest sensation when the masked man had examined her. As though he was looking right through her skin and deeply into her soul. And even though his face and body were concealed from view, she almost felt like she could look right back into him. It was deeply unsettling.

"Don't be afraid," the man told her, as he led her towards his waiting ship. "I feel it too."

She did not feel terribly reassured.
