haha, yeah, i'm not adventurous enough for nipple rings... the side effects scare me... O_O did you know your nipple can reject the piercing and move around it, so then your nipple's in a weird spot... D=

they do look fantastically hot though, absolutely...
i'd get them if it weren't for that freaky factoid... knowing me, i'd be the one in a thousand that it happens to, ya know? *sigh* also, i think my boobs are a little big for nipple piercings... =/

Seriously ? They'd would look so hot on your nipples and your boobs are perfect.

oooh!! do tell!!
haha, yeah... i like piercings and tattoos... my ears are pierced twice and i've gauged both holes, then i'm gonna repierce the third hole (i used to have them but they closed up...) and i want a cartilage piercing on my right ear

they're both sensitive and responsive and tasty

Barefooter73 In reply to kinkyfeat [2010-02-17 19:47:22 +0000 UTC]

Toe prints aren't allowed on the white sheets.....

I've noted you.

Me too, but I like subtle tats not full body artwork.
I noticed them, gauged piercings are very sexy, but I don't know why.
That'll be cool.
I'm not sure about navel piercings, but the jewellery always looks good.
A friend's wife has her nose pierced and I adore that too.

You're killing me ! I can't wait !

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kinkyfeat In reply to Barefooter73 [2010-02-17 20:13:14 +0000 UTC]

really? cuz that would be really cute, toe prints on the sheets

i'll go check! ^_^ i'm thinking i'm gonna be more on this account for a while now, so if we could move our noting over here i'd really appreciate it

yeah, i prefer subtle tatts too sometimes though, sleeves and bigger tatts and such can be friggin' EPIC and super sexy
i dunno why either... i don't generally like huge gauges though o_o like, no bigger than half inch, and i'm not ever gonna get that big... in fact, i'm never even gonna get to sizes that actually require the word inch in their name. i'm thinking size 2 or 0 maybe, but for now i'm fine with 4
maybe it's something about the time and care it takes to gauge... and there's a slight pain factor
thanks! i can't wait!! i think i'll probably have the third holes repierced by this summer, but i dunno about the cartilage... i need to work up the courage... O_O
i don't think i'd look good with a nose piercing *scrunches nose*

heehee!! me neither!! ^_^

Barefooter73 In reply to kinkyfeat [2010-02-17 21:39:23 +0000 UTC]

Hehe, at least I've got you onto the sheets now

No worries, I'll send the replies over.

I don't really like big tats on women. It doesn't look right to me. A wman's skin is so beautiful on it's own. I've seen a few foot tats that I like too, but I think henna looks great on your feet - Indian style.
Again, some people go to extreme. I saw a girl at the concert who had a one inch hole or similar). Impressive, but not that attractive.
How long has it taken to get to 4 ?
I look forward to seeing them. Is the cartilage a lot more painful ?
You have such a cute nose already !

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kinkyfeat In reply to Barefooter73 [2010-02-17 21:49:15 +0000 UTC]

hehe, not hard to get me on the sheets... oh god... that sounds like i'm such a tramp... O_O

thanks

it pretty much has to be elegant for me to like a big tatt on a woman. on men, i'm kinda meh about it, it really depends on the person and the ink, ya know? i saw this one tatt on a woman, she had very ornate wings the covered her back... it was sooooo gorgeous!! O_O

yeah, too big. not sexy...
oh, hehe, i've been gauged for over a year now it's not a very fair representation to go off of my experience because i have really stretchy earlobes, but i got down to 4 from 18 in about a month

i hear cartilage is more painful, yeah. i should go to the shop where i'm planning to get it done and ask the guy how much it'll be and whether he'd use a needle on cartilage. sometimes... i want an industrial... but... i don't think i'm hardcore enough... o.o do you think it'd be hot on me?

i think if i were to pierce anything on my face it would either be an eyebrow or ya know how people get piercings below their eye sometimes? i should go find a picture or somm... but yeah, i think i could pull off a barbell through my eyebrow it'd have to wait til i head off to college though, since i work with kids and i don't think eyebrow piercings are allowed...

Barefooter73 In reply to kinkyfeat [2010-02-17 23:58:42 +0000 UTC]

Haha, sounds better all the time !!
We both know that you're not.

The artwork is often amazing, I'm just worried about how it will look when she's 70 !

Nope. Looks a bit weird to me.
OK, that's a lot quicker than I imagined. You just force it to a larger size one gauge at a time ?

As I've never had a piercing in my life, I don't know how painful it is normally.
I like the industrial, but you need the right look to pull it off. I think it would look good on you.
Honestly, eyebrow piercings are my least favorite. They're very vulnerable and I don't really like them much (but that's just my middle-aged and unfashionable opinion). If you like it, do it !

kinkyfeat In reply to Barefooter73 [2010-02-18 00:41:34 +0000 UTC]

hehe, yeah, i know we know i'm not. i just think it's funny how promiscuous i can make myself sound sometimes

dude, your head is in the wrong place if you're worried how it will look when she's 70. the sexiest thing about old people is that they're bodies tell a story in a way our bodies just don't have the experience to do. i'm gonna love telling my grandkids about my ink; my philosophy about love and life, the struggle i went through so that they could have equal rights, teaching them to knit so they can appreciate why i have the knitting tatt, etc. i'm gonna be a kickass grandma though, so yeah

yeah... but then some people can pull off really big ones O_O
the cheap way to do it is to use masking tape and just add a few layers every couple days, but i prefer to look awesome in the transitional phase between gauged and not gauged, so i bought gauges. best way to do it is use a taper and pull on your lobe a bit before and while you put it in. best time to gauge up is right after a shower cuz your skin is more supple. the amount of time between gauging up is different for everyone, but i figure, once you can put a plug in without it being sore or whatever, you're good to go up again. (do you know what a plug is?) damn... all this talking about gauges makes me wanna go up again... hehe

it doesn't hurt!! getting a shot is more painful than getting a piercing, no joke. it's not the pain that i'm afraid of, remember, i'm a masochist in a big way (bigger than i've told anyone... and i do mean anyone... it's really my only secret, the things i've imagined being done to me...). i'm mostly just unsure about whether or not i can pull off a cartilage piercing...

really?? maybe i'll do that instead of a normal one... think i'll post a poll asking people what they think
hehe, yeah, but i have awesome eyebrows! and i think i could really pull it off but then, it's the kind of temptation that feels like the urge is more exciting than actually having the piercing would be, so it's more fun to want it, ya know?

[link] <--the cheek thing i was talking about before. wachoo think about that kind of thing for me?

It's funny, I've been feeling the same, I don't usually invite ladies from the internet that I've never met for some hotel room fun !!

It's just based on what I've seen before. You know that I spend too much time thinking about things. I guess I worry too much about what other people think.
You'll be a very cool Grandma.

OK, masking tape ????
I think yours look awesome - I've noticed your ears a lot !
Nope, I have no idea of the terminology.
I've always been curious about getting pierced, and how it feels, I've just never done it and doubt that I ever will.

I suppose it's similar to getting a shot - similar sized needle. I have no problem with those.
You mean visually with the cartilage ?

Your body is your canvas. The art is your self expression.
I think the temptation is as far as I'll get !
I've seen those on the cheek. Much better than the eyebrow !

kinkyfeat In reply to Barefooter73 [2010-02-18 09:11:22 +0000 UTC]

Heehee, I know, right? Though, I can actually say I've had hotel room adventures with someone after just meeting them that day. But I knew him on the internet for a good while first

You do! Lighten up!! It's amazing how much easier life is when you don't care what people think
Hell yes I will!!

Do you not know what masking tape is, or are you surprised that it works? (can't judge your tone there...)
Do I have lots of pics with them in them?? o_O
Well, a taper is pretty self-explanatory, it starts small and gets up to the right size. A plug is just one size the whole thing through, a short little cylinder (they can be acrylic, metal, bone, glass, wood, etc) Tapers come in all kinds of shapes, whereas plugs are just plugs, just the cylinder thing. Plugs do have variations though, there are single flares and double flares. The flare just means that either one or both ends of the plug flare out bigger than the size the plug is. I usually have a pair of hollow double-flares, but every so often I switch to another pair of whatever I want ^_^ Tapers can be circular tapers or just straight, they can come in all kinds of ornate loops and such too... They get pretty freakin' sweet

You should try it on your ear sometime. If you don't like it, just take it out before it heals ^_^

No, it's really not similar to getting a shot. Shots hurt worse, first of all. The needle goes in, but it doesn't come out the other side, so there's no relief of the pressure. Also, you're being jabbed by something for a semi-prolonged period of time, whereas with a piercing, it's just whoop through the ear and then they screw on the back and you're done. Nurses love to go slow for some reason... Not that I mind the pain of getting a shot, but it really isn't the same.
Yeah, I mean the look of it.

True!!
Heehee!
Do you think it'd look good on me?

Barefooter73 In reply to kinkyfeat [2010-02-18 10:50:27 +0000 UTC]

Ah, you have previous experience of this !
I'm just the latest in a long line........

I'm much better than I used to be, but sometimes I drift back into the old ways.
It's not the strangers, it's the people who I know well.

Haha, of course I know what masking tape is - I make and paint stuff !!
It's just an application that I'd never have thought of. Like walking around with a wad of rolled masking tape in your ear lobe !! Funny......

OK, I've seen all of those, just didn't know what they were called. You know, I'm new to this stuff *oldest virgin in town*
They're pretty sweet, I love the variety.

A few years ago in my teens or early twenties, maybee.....
I'm just a curious guy who feels that he missed out on some youthful enjoyment by settling down too soon.

I quite enjoy shots (how strange is that). I had a blood test where they couldn't find the vein and were poking around with the needle for ages under the skin. Very weird sensation......
OK, Yup, with a shot they're injecting liquid. That's what causes the discomfort.

You know, it's the overall look. A piercing or two as an accessory looks so sexy, but it's easy to become obsessed and go over the top. You don't want too much metal on that pretty face at once. Just my opinion, that's all.

kinkyfeat In reply to Barefooter73 [2010-02-18 11:10:54 +0000 UTC]

Haha, see... now you're the one making me look like a slut... *sigh* It was just the one time!! The other time it took him 4 whole days to get in my jeans!! And again, I knew him on the internet for almost a year before that...

Yeah, I hear ya. My mom is so annoying about it though... I'm pretty much at a point where I never give a shit about the little things. Bigger/more important things, sure, I care. But I never care to the point that it's worth sacrificing myself to change whatever it is people don't approve of.

K, I was gonna say... Haha... But then I thought maybe you guys just have a different word for it...? Well, not a wad, just a little roll

And now you know! Isn't education fantabulous?

Oh pshaw! Take back your youth!! It's never too late to get a piercing or a tattoo Dad didn't pierce his ear til he was 37, and it looks very sophisticated on him.

I quite enjoy them too. I'm the only person I know who does, so it's nice to know that about you I had to have an IV once because I was actually checked into the ER for a couple hours and they needed to be able to draw blood or push fluids if they felt the need to or whatever... Very cool experience for me. Well... Not the rest of the ER thing, but the IV bit. When she took the bit that plugs it out so she could attach the tube, blood just came gushing out. It was pretty fantastic... All that red all over my leg... I had another cool experience thing while I was there that night. If you wanna hear the whole story, I'd be glad to note you about it.

Oh with those it would definitely be one or the other. So my asking your opinion is a way to help me figure out: if I were ever to get a face piercing, would it be the cheek thing or the eyebrow thing?

Barefooter73 In reply to kinkyfeat [2010-02-18 18:51:16 +0000 UTC]

I don't have four whole days..... *must work quickly.....* !!

I was brought up to create the best impression and be better than what people expect of me - it's prolly part of the whole growing in a poor area thing becuse 'we're better than this'. Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing to do, but when you have a kink or two that you want to explore, it doesn't make life easy.

I know, I was exaggerating for comedic effect, thinking of what it would look like !

Isn't it !

My return to youth is more about my attitude and sense of fun, not so much my appearance. If I worked in a more laid back industry, with a lower profile role, it would be easier, but I like having this double life of sensible smart sales manager and metal loving barefoot hippy type !

My experience was at the doctors office. I've never been in hospital. I was born at home and I've never had an operation, broken bone or trip to the accident & emergency.

Defo the cheek thing !

Heehee! You seem to be the type who works well under pressure, I wouldn't worry about it

I hear ya. I was the type who didn't respond so well to behavioral modification... So my parents tried, but I just did what I wanted. Now I respond to positive reinforcement and negative consequences pretty freakin' well, but I think that's just me coming into my subby self.

Heehee, well it was a funny picture! ^_^

It really is *contented sigh* I'm a teacher... And a student. And I always will be

Haha, I hear ya

I was only in for a few hours. I had a "not a miscarriage" Turns out I wasn't pregnant to begin with. What had happened was when I had gone on birth control the month before, it had stopped my period, so then at the beginning of my next cycle, I passed the entire old lining all at once as I was using the restroom... It was grey and landed in the toilet in a way that made it look like fetal tissue, so I kinda freaked out. They gave me an ultrasound and some major awesome painkillers. (passing the whole lining like that gave me miscarriage symptoms, super bad cramps, like... debilitating cramps... and horrible lower back pain, etc) It took a couple hours before I finally said "Can we make sure I was even pregnant in the first place?" because I went in because I wasn't sure and I wanted to find out, not because I knew it had happened, ya know?
Worst part of it was that after all that crap I still had my regular cycle for that time around... o_o And I know I said I'd note you, but I'm feeling too lazy to copy/paste all that. I don't really care if people see, but I understand if you would want to hide the comment from your watchers for whatever reason

I've had a couple trips to the emergency room, but only one broken bone. The rest were sprains in my wrists and ankles.

Kk, I'll think about it

I need pressure and deadlines. I'm not focussed otherwise, my mind drifts from one thing to another.

You seem to have done OK. Positive reinforcement and negative consequences is how the whole world works. It's exactly how religion manipulates the weak of mind 'Jesus loves you' and 'believe and do as we say or you won't get into heaven'

I know, I'm gonna be looking out for someone wearing tape. I'll piss myself laughing if I see one !

I don't know what to say here. That sounds like a frightening experience.
Shelley's had three miscarriages, so I'm aware of what it's like even if yours was a false alarm. somtimes I think I'm really lucky being a guy.
That's quite OK. I'll hide it if you want me to.
If you look at the comments on the photo, can you see this, because I can't ?

Don't make any quick decisions. You face looks pretty just as it is.

Heehee, I tend to do it all at the last minute O_O

Yupyup Religion is the bane of humanity... o.o

Heehee, it's not likely that you'll see someone. It's not that noticeable, and not many people think of it

It was pretty disorienting, yeah... I was kinda scared and confused and in a lot of pain... O_O And the whole time they were acting like I absolutely had had one, but I'm like, I don't know!

I had this cool moment with a little girl though. She didn't speak english and neither did her mother, and her leg was obviously broken. She was 8 at the oldest... Anyway, she was lying in her bed crying and screaming from the pain in her leg and I came out of the bathroom with the iv sticking out of my arm after having changed into the blue thingie they put you in. They were trying to pick the girl up so they could take her for xrays but every time they tried she would start screaming from the pain and fear since she didn't know what they were doing because of the language barrier. Finally they left her there with her mom to go find a translator cuz the mom was getting kinda freaked out over her daughter's pain too. Anyway, I come out of the bathroom and the little girl looks at me and I look at her and kinda give her a half-hearted comforting smile (it was the best I could muster through my own pain) and she kinda calmed down and stopped crying and actually smiled back at me a little (as much as she could anyway...). It was a really cool bit of nonverbal communication, and after that the girl was calmer. They never did find a translator for her. What they had to do was her mom laid down in the bed with her and they wheeled the whole thing out to the xray room.

You don't have to hide it, just if you want to
I dunno, it's probably pretty buried in the comments O_O

Oh yeah, no. I don't know if I would ever do it
