Grant held Bullet firmly as they trotted about in a circle. The stallion tossed his head, flicking his mane and tail from side to side with little snorts of excitement.
"Calm down!" Grant muttered in annoyance, slowing the stallion to a walk. "Now, you little bastard," he leaned closed to the stallion's head as he began to unclip his halter, "stand still or so help me i'll --" and he ran out of words to complete that threat.
He stepped back, holding the halter in shake hands, waiting for the big Thoroughbred to bolt off in one direction or another, but instead he stood there, standing tall and straight and noble - as though showing off for the judge.
"Yeah, uh-huh, look at me, yes, i'm gorgeous, i know," Bullet's mind whirred and he felt his chest swell with happiness as eyes all around him locked on and watched him. "Yes, look at me, look at the sexiness!"
