No promises that this'll be the last one I'm just working on getting a bunch of the BS horses drawn out in the snow ^^ Also these little stories are always good for development!
So here we can see my best boy Bullet and Dez messing about in the snow like foals

So, four days after the snow, the Thoroughbreds were finally let out into the least snowy of the pastures. There had been a light fall of snow during the night, but nothing too bad, so Kalib just waited until the sun melted a little before having the staff bring out all six Thoroughbreds at the same time
Sky and Rubie walked side by side like an old married couple. Robin followed next to her aunt Fancy and Catch trotted along, held by Seb, dancing about on his hooves as though he'd never seen snow before. The pair of Bullet and Dez followed, nipping at each other's withers and nickering softly to one another and tugging at Grant's grip on the lead reins as they neared the pasture.
Kalib, holding Sky, had all the horses line up side by side twenty yards back from the open gate.
"Ready?" He called out, and the handlers all nodded. "Let 'em go!" Kalib yelled and quickly slipped off Sky's halter. Each of the others did the same and six Thoroughbreds shot forward at break-neck speeds towards the great, slowing just enough to let three through at a time and then streaking out in all directions onto the snow.
Bullet was in the first three, Dez in the second, but they came up side-by-side as they got a few strides in, each put in a buck and then both kicked off with a burst of speed and streaked away from the gate.
They pulled up a minute later, shivering from adrenalin, nostrils wide and flared and they neighed back and forth free three feet away from each other, locking necks and nipping each other, dancing around like best friends and brothers. They kicked up the snow, jumped for no reason, ran twenty feet in one direction, skidded to a stop and did the same another way just for the hell of it.
Kalib watched from the side of the pasture, inwardly glowing as he watched his herd pawing and jumping and rearing in joy. It was sheerly beautiful to see how happy they all were.
