OOoh what puckers.
I'm thinking of candy and bacon all at the same time.
Is this symbolic of the attraction that comes with being an overlord that can survive
in both forms of weightless infinity?

it really is about the oil spill(s), how they effect so much, probably more than we even know yet. i set out to do a "space" manip, but couldn't keep the sea life out of my mind, so i put them in. i like your thoughts about it, though. would that i were such a heavy thinker!

You are, babe...
but I have put the oil spill out of my mind because
Rice, my ambulance partner is in the business of knowing
all their lame attemtps to fix it and knows that none of them
is going to work.
The estimations are that
in four years, only THEN will the oil stop flooding the
sea as it's doing now
and by then, it will have already been raining oil
and killing everything it touches directly and indirectly.
So since I know we're done here in a few years,
I've emptied my mind and made room for the usual thoughts.

Oooh very colourful! Very surreal!
Just one thing that bugs me: You may have done this on purpose and in that case ignore me
-The scene itself looks great, its just teh planets and moon that looks off - the stars seem to be shining through them. I'd suggest removing the stars under the Earth and moon (instead of raising the opacity) to keep the surreal feeling but but the scene seem more realistic - more believable. Once again, if having it be unbelievable was your intention, ignore me
Its great!

thanks for the input! i did try it that way to begin with, but the planets took on more importance than i wanted in the composition. i figured since it wasn't meant to be realistic, i could get away with it. i'm not sure how to keep the planets in their place if i remove the stars there. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!

No problem
Well...I'd suggest putting a lens flare behind them, but that's on the esrious-end of things and probably wouldn't look the best. I'm not really sure...

I'm reminded of images from Omni magazine when they first started out with full-page features of some of the best new artists - this being without the 16:1 ratio of adverts to content. Exceptional color, and seamless contrasts - a best!
