Hi there, thanks for this thorough tutorial. I've read your comments requesting feedback on your grammar. Your writing contains many grammatical errors but it's very precise and clear, and that is most important in writing. I'll give several examples:
1. "This technique allows FOR very
detailed images at resolutions that no camera can give."
2. Get rid of the comma in the third sentence.
3. You need to reconstruct the last sentence in the first paragraph- it doesn't make sense.
You often use commas in wrong places. There's a lot of work to be fixed and I suggest you send it to someone who would agree to correct it. However, do remember it's written in a clear and light way, and it's an enjoyable to read tutorial It's the best I've seen by far.

thank you for your kind, constructive and valuable comment. since my own language is italian, it's no surprise that my tutorials contain a number of errors. i'll take your input in account when i decide to edit and update the tutorial
btw, i did sent it to a fellow deviant who was apparently interested in correcting it, but i got no news since then

Nice tutorial! If you don't have money, get autostitch to make your life easier. If you don't mind spending a little money (100 euros), get yourself Autopano Pro and you can forget about most of the info in the tutorial. Panoramic life will almost be too easy...

thank for the comment
yes i've seen that software and apparently it works great. however you cannot avoid to take the pics with enough overlay.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

cornellg In reply to barninga [2008-07-28 04:39:24 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, too little overlay can kill the illusion of a perfect fit. Still it's ridiculous what you can get away with sometimes.

But no matter what software you're using, this is the best panorama tutorial I've found to date. I'm going to try that trick with the string and lead next time.

That was useful!

If only I got the time to try this technique out... I don't claim to be a photographer either and my camera's not very good...

Great...happy to see that tutorial...this one is definitely not shallow one...because Im struggling with it for long time

May I have question about your commenting? How are you doing your hyper text in your comments...like when you are thanking for fav or whatever...you have that title like an hyper text...have no clue

Have a nice day

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

barninga In reply to guyfromczech [2006-11-29 20:15:14 +0000 UTC]

thanks for your appreciation. any feedback is welcome

you can place hyperlinks in your journals, notes and comments in two ways:
- just put the [link] url in the text, and it will appear as "[link]"
- put an "a href" html tag, and it will appear as you described. for example:
'<'a href="http://address_here">hyperlink_here'
but don't type the single quotes, they are here just to display the text as it is.
