Hey, remember that old, yet still awesome, Godzilla cartoon that was made back in the '70s by Hanna-Barbera? Wouldn't it have been even cooler if Godzilla actually fought some of the monsters like Rodan or Hedorah in the cartoon? Well, this is where this little "what if" drawing I did came from. It's the Hanna-Barbara version of Godzilla fighting against Anguirus. And, instead of being green like he is in the cartoon, I made Godzilla grey like he is in the movies. I must admit, Anguirus looks very goofy, but I'm happy with how he turned out.Godzilla and Anguirus belong to Toho.
HB-Godzilla belongs to Hanna Barbera

Anguirus looks like he came out of the cartoon! The only thing that sets it apart is Anguirus' sharp spots.

Pity Toho is so greedy with licensing. The other Toho monsters never appeared in this or the Marvel or Dark Horse comics due to fees.

1ST COMMENT! YES!! Your lines are identical to Hanna Barberas (his stomach should be rounder & his fingers should be thicker) but a brilliant drawing! I'm gonna do a picture sooner or later of this style of Godzilla. I did a picture of Godzooky. What do you think of him?

I can't say that I'm a big fan of Godzooky. I'm more of a Minya or Junior fan myself.
