Description

The other day, when I saw "Don’t Pay the Ferryman " by Demoness-Lilith ,
I thought it was such a cool depiction of the classic legend of
Charon, (or Charun) the riverman who ferries souls across
the River Styx in Greek and Roman mythology, that I
was instantly inspired to pen a poem in the
comments beneath it.

So, I was super pleased that "the daughter of darkness" liked it.
And, since she had such a favorable reaction to the poem,
I worked up the courage to ask if I could pair the two
together as a collaboration. I was truly honored
that she took me up on the offer. This is the
result. I hope everyone likes it. ^_^

And yes, of course that old Chris de Burgh song was playing
in my head the entire time I was working on this. lol
