Good stuff.

Here is a little critic if you don't mind (I actually really like the picture in the most part, I just like to rant) : twin machine guns on the hull of post apoc vehicles are like googles on the forehead for post apoc characters: a huge clichΓ© ^^

But my main concern is that in a world where you struggle to stay alive and use whatever scrap you can find to jury-rig and customize your rusty, beat up car, the odds of finding two working machine guns like this and enough ammo to keep them running are probably very slim Of course it all depends of your specific context, some post apoc worlds are richer than others. But then, if you have access to manufactured weapons and ammo, you might as well mount them on vehicles that are better suited for actual combat.

Also, I dont think machine guns would be very useful in this place since you need to turn the whole car for aiming. The odds of friendly fire also seem high ^^' I'd prefer a pintle mount of some sort.

Of course practicality isn't always the main concern when designing post apoc stuff, since the characters aren't necessarily aware of what is a good idea. Β A little madness is good, otherwise post apoc worlds would be rather dull.

But even people with no knowledge of fighting learn from experience. Look at the recent uprisings that took place in North Africa and Middle East: these people were desperate enough to stick soviet air-to-air rocket pods on the back of Toyota pickup trucks. But even them found a way to to be able to aim with these things without moving the whole vehicle

Ranting time is now over, carry on

He he

Thank's for this ruthless professional ranting What can I say, in "real life" I totally agree with you about the machine guns. But this particular concept was made for a classic side scroller/shooter game in which you just go right and blow anything in your way. So in that case this kind of weaponry set works quite well

Haha, indeed.

In this case, you might as well add some missiles too
