For 's contest. I haven't seen the movie yet, so don't spoil.
"The Skull Crawler is a derived member of Phytosauria. It has no close relatives, but it probably evolved from Redondasaurus. Skull Crawlers evolved to be both land and water predators. The back legs gradually shrunk while the tail evolved to be thicker and more paddle-like. Skull Crawlers posses fleshy lures on their tongue, similarly to an Alligator Snapping Turtle.
The Skull Crawler has a particular taste for giant gorillas....."
Hyrotrioskjan is hosting a contest derived around speculative evolution. I thought it would be fun to enter, even if I haven't seen the movie yet.

That seems unlikely. It seems very developed for land, so I would imagine something semi-aquatic to be more likely.

Tell that to the shape of the head, I though Mosasaur when I saw the head.

The head looked like a mosasaur, but the body didn't. Physically, I see more Archosaur characteristics.
