If you stand in front of the seam in the middle of my bathroom mirror it makes you look skinny. It's good for boosting my ego on bad days but sucks when you forget it's not real haaaahh...

There is something that is so absolutely real about this. It's times like that that make for pieces that really touch the viewer, be it with humor or love, or anything. It's something that I think people have done, seen... and you captured it... it's like photojournalism, but with illustration.
...maybe that's the point of it, but...

I have the same type of mirror
if you move the medicine cabinet mirror just so, it makes you look like carmen electra

your unlucky, mine is the oposite, you look fatter when you stand between them and when you get on the side of the mirror, it becomes all thin and cute

But, one thing that is great about you is that you have a sense of what chubby characters move like (I mean that in a non-insulting way). Im skinny, so 1.) All the people I draw tend to be skinny and 2.) Its sometimes hard for me to understand how to draw people that a little bit heavier than I am. So in a way, your very lucky.
At least your somewhat worried about it, some people dont even care. Just remember, every artist that creates beautiful artwork is always beautiful. Because I dont care what anyone says, you can not create beautiful artwork if you are not a beautiful person.

My mirror is like that.
There is a mindow down town that makes you reflection look really skinny. I walk past it on a daily basis to get to the bus station, and Im always like "DAM! I looking good today!" Then I pass the shop right next to that and its like "Oh poo..."

There's a mirror in the Halloween section at Target that does the same thing. I've seriously debated stealing it for my own use for years.
