i've had a wacom 6x8" intuos 1 tablet since 8th grade or so and it's totally awesome. i've never had to replace it/get it fixed/whatever. it works great and i can't imagine needing anything larger than the size i have. i actually use a 6x8" tablet spanned over two monitors at work, so even smaller works just fine too!

whew. okay. i wasn't sure what size would be best, because a friend of mine has always been used to the bigger ones, and my dad was kinda wary about the smaller ones. but i really wanted a small one D:

i've had it for about 9 years so i really don't remember life without it hehe. i know some friends who've just recently picked one up said it takes a little getting used to, but it's very easy to use once you get past the whole not looking at your hands move part lol.
As far as where i got it, it was a christmas present so i'm not sure exactly where it came from, but i'm fairly certain it was ebay. i'm not sure i'd recommend ebay, though. if you can find a store that carries 'em then do that. basically for the instant gratification hehehe. otherwise you can order one from wacom's site.

i know they have some on amazon for cheaper than the wacom site...but i should look into a store that has 'em. i'm gettin all excited, and i dont even have it yet. xD
