Description
Yeah, this was supposed to be a totally serious picture of me getting re-accuanted with my colored pencils, but this is what happened. I did the body first, and I put WAY too much color in it. Then I thought, "I'll do the wing, and make it less saturated, and that will balance it out"

Like hell.

So, instead of going "screw this!" and throwing the picture away because it wasn't coming out the way I wanted, I decided to finish it and have fun :3

THE STORY OF RAINBOW OWL

(this will be funnier to people who have read Guardians of gahoole)

Rainbow owl was born in a lush forest called silver viel. No one was sure what spieces his parents were, but as he poked his head out of the egg, his parent gasped in horror. Rainbow owl had bright, brilliant featheres that captured the sunlight and reflected it back in the million colors of the spectrum. To a human, this could be considered beautiful, but his parents had only one thing to say:

"what a freak!"

Rainbow owl grew up being taunted by his fellow owlets. They called him names, scourned him, put vermin in his bed, and so on.
Rainbow owl began to grow weary, and he soon began to hate. HOw dare they call him such things! He could kill every one of them and it would all be over!...yes...yes, he could do it!

Rainbow owl's once innocent mind began twisting and writhing, thinking of new ways to plot the murderous downfall of his piers.

Then one day, St. Aggies came to snatch some eggs, as they often do. Rainbow owl was in a particularly awful mood, and one of their scouts bumped into him, and screeched "watch it, bright beak!"

That was the last straw for Rainbow owl.

He flew at the owl, beak agate, hissing and snarling, his giant talons poised to strike! His claws dove through the thin layer of skin protecting the owl's insides from the world, a torrent of blood and screaming poured fourth. But rainbow wasn't finished. He mercilessly yanked the bird's limpening body and hurled him against a tree branch. The body flew (no pun intended) through the air, and snapped groutesquely over the branch, gurgling softly. The now lacerated, broken body fell freely through the air and landed in a disheveled pile on the forest floor.

Then, none other than Skench flew up to rainbow.

"we could use you as a soldier!" she uttered, weary of the owl, none the less.

"i'll do it" He said, without hesitation.

Now, Rainbow owl is being prepared at St. Aggies.

He has a special room, in which he never leaves, but some of the lesser moon blinked owl say they see a brightly colored bird who flies with a shroud of death and giant talons that snap frail bodies like autumn leaves.

You may laugh at rainbow owl. You may mock and jeer. But he doesn't forget you. He is being prepared, and one day, he will be released into the world. And as you lay your head on a pillow at night, be very careful. Because rainbow owl will make very sure, very very sure, you never open your eyes again.

Wow, Aren't I just amazing? I came up with that story while I was srawing this XD They need to have a mental hospital dedicated entirely to me XD
