After seeing Chip and Dale's movie and the new Lightyear movie, I figured that the Peter Pan we all know and love will never become Sweet Pete because someone or something broke his timeline to possibly save him and prevent him from becoming Sweet Pete. This means that what's happening to the Peter we know never happened to Sweet Pete. Sweet Pete claims to be Peter's future self, but Peter Pan tells his evil doppelganger (or possibly unnatural future self) that he is NEVER going to be him.
